One Netbook is about to shake up the portable gaming market with its latest external GPU, the OneXGPU 2, featuring AMD’s powerful Radeon RX 7800M. Crowdfunding kicks off at 12:00 AM on September 27, with an early bird price of $839, rising to $899 for later backers.
The OneXGPU 2 pairs its sleek magnesium-alloy shell with impressive specs: the RX 7800M is built on the NAVI32 GPU, boasting 60 compute units, 12GB GDDR6 VRAM, and up to 180W of performance. The device is larger than its predecessor, measuring 229.5 x 175 x 43 mm and weighing 1610g, making it a formidable option for those looking to boost their gaming setup on the go.
But this is more than just an eGPU — it doubles as a docking station, offering an array of ports, including Oculink, USB 4.0, HDMI 2.1, dual DisplayPort 2.0, USB-A, and Gigabit Ethernet. There's also M.2 SSD and TF card support, all powered by a built-in 330W supply with RGB lighting and an efficient air-cooled design.
One Netbook also offers bundle deals with the OneXPlayer handheld: the 32GB+1TB version starts at $1,838 during the early bird phase, or $1,918 for the 32GB+2TB option. For gamers and creators alike, the OneXGPU 2 promises serious power in a portable form factor.
