The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) has released an updated list of desktop chargers certified under the Qi2 wireless charging standard, a technology developed to improve interoperability and enhance the wireless charging experience for users. As of October 31, 2024, a total of 198 desktop chargers from a diverse range of brands have successfully attained Qi2 certification, signifying their compliance with the latest industry standards for safe and efficient wireless charging.
Leading the charge is ELECOM, with seven certified models that showcase the company’s commitment to high-quality and compatible wireless charging solutions. Following close behind are Powerqi and OJD, each securing five certifications, demonstrating their dedication to supporting Qi2’s advancements in stability and efficiency.
In addition to these leaders, other prominent brands such as NOMAD, MGCTECH, and DNS have each achieved four Qi2-certified models, establishing themselves as reliable players in the Qi2-compatible charging space. These top brands are setting the pace for a future of seamless wireless charging across various devices.
With a wide range of options from well-known and emerging brands, the list of Qi2-certified desktop chargers includes products that cater to diverse consumer preferences. In addition to ELECOM, Powerqi, and OJD, brands like Baseus, Belkin, AT&T, and Zens each offer multiple certified models, ensuring that consumers have a variety of high-performance, Qi2-compliant chargers to choose from.
