On September 4, 2024, reMarkable officially launched the reMarkable Paper Pro, its first full-color tablet designed for note-taking and sketching. The new model features an 11.8-inch Canvas Color display, allowing users to write and draw with up to nine colors, enhancing creativity and clarity in digital documents.
With a focus on providing a near-paper experience, the Paper Pro boasts a 40% improvement in latency, reducing it to just 12ms, making writing with the Marker Plus feel smoother than ever. Priced starting at $579, this device also features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, with additional accessories like a Type Cover available.
This launch puts reMarkable ahead in the digital paper tablet market, as competitors like Amazon and Kobo have yet to release similar color-supported tablets.
