Sony has officially announced the new MDR-M1 closed-back headphones, set to be released in September 2024. Priced at $249.99, these headphones are designed for professional audio applications, offering studio-quality sound with a wide frequency response range from 5Hz to 80kHz.
Key features include newly developed 40mm drivers that provide ultra-wideband playback for accurate audio reproduction, making them ideal for music production and mixing. The closed acoustic design improves sound isolation, reducing ambient noise and preventing sound leakage. Additionally, the headphones feature Beat Response Control technology to enhance low-frequency performance.
The MDR-M1 is designed in collaboration with top audio engineers and aims to offer a comfortable fit for long sessions, thanks to its lightweight frame and thick ear pads. With detachable cables and multiple connection options, these headphones cater to a range of professional environments.
Available for pre-order, they will be sold globally through major retailers like Amazon and B&H.
