Apple is set to launch its much-anticipated "Apple Intelligence" in late October 2024. This AI-driven suite will debut with the release of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, rolling out advanced features such as enhanced Siri capabilities, AI-powered photo editing, and new writing tools. Initially, the update will be available in the U.S., with English-language support in other regions like Canada, the U.K., and Australia coming later this year.
This update marks a significant step in Apple's integration of artificial intelligence, combining on-device processing with "Private Cloud Compute" for complex tasks. Although many features will be available at launch, more advanced capabilities, including ChatGPT integration, will be introduced gradually over the following months.
The first Apple Intelligence features will be supported on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 models, and Apple devices with M1 chips or newer.
