On September 14, Videocardz reported that AMD's upcoming Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 will be the first 8-core Zen 5 APU. This chip is expected to launch alongside the Ryzen AI 300 PRO series APU next month. Lenovo has already confirmed that its ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 will be one of the first laptops to feature this powerful new processor.

The Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360, initially thought to be a renamed version of the Ryzen AI 9 365, distinguishes itself with 8 cores and 16 threads, divided into 4 Zen 5 cores and 4 Zen 5c cores. This makes it highly efficient for multi-threaded tasks and AI-driven applications.

The ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, which will likely retail for around $1,700, is expected to be the debut device for this APU. In recent Geekbench AI benchmark tests using the OpenVINO CPU framework, the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 scored 3111 in single precision, 3244 in half precision, and 9074 in quantized performance.
With its AI-enhanced performance and strong CPU architecture, the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 is set to power a new generation of enterprise-grade laptops.
