On September 11, Gorilla Circuits, a U.S.-based printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturer, announced that it has successfully passed its annual AS9100:2024 audit, a significant milestone affirming the company’s adherence to the highest standards in aerospace, aviation, and defense industries. AS9100, developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), is a widely recognized quality management system tailored to meet the strict requirements of these sectors. Building on the ISO 9001 framework, it incorporates additional elements specific to safety, quality, and reliability in aerospace applications.
Founded in 2002 and headquartered in San Jose, California, Gorilla Circuits specializes in PCB design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing. With two facilities covering 35,000 square feet, the company has cemented itself as a key player in the electronics manufacturing industry. While its primary operations are based in San Jose, Gorilla Circuits collaborates with mass production partners, such as Taiwan-based Asia Circuits, for high-volume orders, a partnership that has lasted over 15 years.
The successful audit underscores Gorilla Circuits’ dedication to maintaining top-tier quality in the aerospace market, reinforcing its position as a reliable partner for mission-critical applications.
