SmartSens has introduced two new high-resolution CMOS image sensors, the SC635HAI and SC532HAI, with 6MP and 5MP resolutions, respectively. These back-illuminated sensors are designed for the growing security market and feature SmartSens' SmartClarity-3 technology, along with advanced innovations like Lightbox IR, ColGain HDR, and SmartAOV.
The sensors boast superior performance in low-light and near-infrared conditions, making them ideal for environments with challenging lighting. With backside illumination and SFCPixel patent technology, combined with Lightbox IR for enhanced near-infrared sensitivity, both sensors deliver clear, bright, and low-noise images even in dark conditions.
Additionally, the sensors support both 2-exposure Staggered HDR and single-frame ColGain HDR modes, which dramatically improve dynamic range and ensure sharp details in high-contrast scenes without motion blur. Their low power consumption, thanks to precise internal circuit design, makes them energy-efficient, contributing to lower overall camera power usage.
The SC635HAI and SC532HAI are ideal for security monitoring and consumer IoT applications, offering excellent 3K HD night vision for tasks like human detection and license plate recognition. These sensors are also suited for IoT cameras, including home security and solar-powered outdoor cameras, ensuring long-lasting, energy-efficient performance.
