Popular CPU monitoring and benchmarking tool CPU-Z has released its 2.11 version, introducing support for three new Intel processors: the Core Ultra 5 235, 225, and 225F. These CPUs are expected to belong to Intel's upcoming Arrow Lake-S desktop processor family, with a likely release in early 2025.
Based on the naming convention, the Core Ultra 5 235 will feature 6 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores, while the Ultra 5 225 and 225F are expected to come with a 6+4 core configuration. The 225F model is anticipated to be the successor to Intel's popular price-to-performance champion, the Core i5-x400F.
In addition to the Ultra 5 series, CPU-Z 2.11 also adds support for multiple Intel 14th-generation Core processors with an "01E" suffix, which are embedded performance-core-only chips. However, the update did not mention support for the 45W "01TE" variants.
This update ensures that users of the latest Intel CPUs can accurately monitor and test their hardware, making CPU-Z an essential tool for enthusiasts and professionals alike.
